Family Friendly
Coast
My favorite Sonoma County beaches to explore are Goat Rock and Doran. As with all Northern California beaches, be very aware of the cold temperatures and sneaker waves. Never
turn your back on the ocean!

When in Bodega Bay Harbor, Spud Point Marina has the best clam chowder! Service is to-go and I usually take my chowder just up the street to Bodega Head and eat overlooking
the rolling waves. It’s served piping hot, so stays warm even if your picnic spot is aways away.

Wine Tasting
Sonoma County has enough wineries to go to more than one every day for a year! Or if your taste buds prefer craft beer or distilled cocktails, Sonoma County has you covered there
too. Many brands have beautiful properties for picnics, offer live entertainment, or have amazing grounds to tour in addition to sampling their beverages.

I’ve been volunteering for Transcendence Theater Company for many years. Their annual outdoor productions are amazing and the work they do in our area is phenomenal.
